Take that, Osama!

This just in from the war on terrorism, Canadian front:
RCMP labs prepare for mass disaster As the war against terrorism rages on, RCMP forensic experts are preparing for the worst, developing a system to rapidly analyze the DNA of people killed in a mass disaster or terrorist attack. The force is hoping to make the gruesome task of identifying victims of crashes or explosions as quick as possible, using lab-worker robots, lessons learned from the Swissair crash and prototype Canadian software that was borrowed by World Trade Center investigators.
This is very good news indeed. Security along the border may be lax to non-existent (they don't even know where it is in some places), dams and bridges may go uninspected, airport security may be in the hands of organized crime, the emergency preparedness services aren't remotely prepared for an emergency, but by God, we'll be ready to name the dead. UPDATE: Keith comments: "The best damned country in the world at identifying shredded human remains. Are these tears of pride?"
