Bombardier has decided to do the final assembly of its new C-Series family of jets near Montreal, news reports say. A Bombardier spokesman, John Paul MacDonald, and the federal Transport Minister, Jean Lapierre, would only say that negotiations had moved forward. However, Radio-Canada reported that the federal cabinet will approve $400 million in loans to Bombardier on Thursday.
