MY COLUMN on Inky Mark's claims ("The thin line between politics and crime") is up, but as no one else seems to think allegations of attempted bribery of a Member of Parliament newsworthy, perhaps it's best to move on. (NB: No one denies the conversation took place. It's possible Mark himself was "fishing" for an appointment, as the Liberals claim -- though it would seem odd that he would be the one to then go public -- but wouldn't you think the matter was worth pursuing either way?)
