The NDP is as high as 20 per cent in the polls, its best showing (if it pans out) in five elections. It's looking at winning 30 seats, if the projections are to be believed, half again as many as it has now. It has run, by any measure, a smart, adroit, successful campaign. Naturally, the party's left wing is deeply unhappy about it.
