Far right

At his press conference today, someone asked Paul Martin if he could name an example of a "far right" policy from the Conservative platform. He cited their positions on daycare, Kyoto, and the "Kelowna Accord" on aboriginal issues. From this and similar statements, we can define "far right" as "anyone who disagrees with me, especially where: a) I once had the same position (Iraq, Kyoto, gay marriage, missile defence, etc), b) there are no meaningful differences between our positions (abortion, health care, gun control, etc), c) I have no meaningful commitment to my position (Kyoto, etc), or d) I didn't have a position until about five minutes ago (notwithstanding clause, Kelowna, etc)." But perhaps I should let Ed do the talking.
